Chart 4: Expected probabilities of losing, leaving and finding a job by numeracy level

Note: Data for the level of numeracy between the second quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2024 have been revised. Respondents are assigned a numeracy score based on a series of questions when they take the survey for the first time. If they take the survey again in the future, their score is carried forward. For the quarters with revisions, roughly 22% of observations were classified incorrectly, and scores were not carried forward. The revised results are not systemically higher or lower than the previous results. The changes do not affect key messages in previous CSCE publications.
