Debt-Management Strategy: Market Consultations on the Real Return Bond Program - Summary of Comments

In September and October 2003, officials from the Department of Finance and the Bank of Canada consulted with market participants on issues specific to the Real Return Bond (RRB) program. Comments received will be taken into consideration in the development of the debt strategy for 2004/05. To allow for comments from a broader range of participants, the Summer 2003 Consultations document was made available on the Bank of Canada's Web site. Today, a Summary of Comments received is being made public on the Bank's Web site.

The summary document reports the views of market participants on questions related to the RRB program.
